Do you get annoyed by people vigorously asking for likes?

Have you ever seen a YouTube video or blog post that has banners everywhere asking for likes, subscriptions, or comments? I understand that everyone wants to stand out, but are they going at it the wrong way? alt text

From my view, if I get bombarded by a desperate plea to like something, I do the exact opposite. Don't get me wrong, asking for likes is important, but I'm speaking to those that do it constantly throughout their content; when it gets to the point where it gets annoying. Most of the time, they try to make their audience try to feel sympathetic in order to receive what they want. alt text

I am just curious as to what your opinions are. I recently read a comic and wanted your take on it. (Which is also the source for the pictures)

Yes I do find it annoying,

yeah just kidding, but it is really annoying and its just people finding them selves popular according to a million strangers who cannot think for them selves and was their time liking things as you state in that diagram.

I will like this because I actually agree with it and it has a valid set of points. And have you ever noticed something along the lines of "Like to give -so and so- medical treatment." So did the kid die if he didn't get that 1000 likes? What a fail of society.
