I'm skeptical about the Retina Display version. I imagine some people will try to use it for gaming, which isn't a very good idea since the video card in the laptop isn't nearly powerful enough to drive games at that resolution.

Diablo 3 has been updated to support the retina display and is running fine on ultra settings as far as i'm aware

Running highest settings at full resolution it runs D3 at about 20ish FPS. So not horrible but by no means is the, base model, anything to be overly happy about at least as far as graphics performance. I'm sure some of the upgraded versions will do better, I've only seen the base model however.

i have the base model with 16GB of Ram coming in the next couple on days, maybe even tomorrow so i will let you know how it performs

Yeah, throw a variety of games on it, My friend bought one the other day and he let me test D3, and I wanted to see how fast it would run maxed out. Obviously if you turned stuff down it would have no problem at all.
