I don't think he is top.

He does a lot of stuff but others do a lot more than him.

He is a great presenter and does it well, I guess years of TV shows helps :)

But no he is not "top" but is a good role model on the internet and YouTube that has since become a bad place to get role models.

You can tell he puts a lot of effort into what he does, and that he enjoys it.

He may not be the top geek, but he presents well and is charming. This makes him good in media, but I'm sure there's lots of geeky people out there that aren't celebrities.

While he may not be concise most of the time, Chris presents his honest opinion about technology. Most users on YouTube, or other internet sources, are shrouded by sponsors and people paying top dollar. He is a popular geek because it's obvious that he loves what he does with a passion.

I wouldn't really say that he is the top geek, as that is based on opinion, but he is a good source for trending topics.
