hi guys, i recently bought a netgear wnr3500 300mbps router, i set it all up, and it was working fine for around 15mins, then it started randomly restarting its self every 15-60 mins. i can confirm it is a soft reset, but behaves as though you have hard reset it. the router does push signal out, and does it well, but the random dropping off is a real pain in the ass. if anyone has any suggestions or trouble shooting ideas it would be a real help.
thanks allot guys

This problem can be caused by the external power supply overheating. I would suggest checking to make sure it is the correct power supply for the router - if it is under-rated it can overheat and drop power from time to time. Then when it cools off it powers back on. Even if it is the correct supply, if it goes faulty it can give the same problem.
