Okay so assuming you all know what I'm talking about, when the battery dies or you do something like that and you can resume to where you were when you plug the power cord in or a charged battery on a Macbook. I was wondering if there was anything like that on windows computers, because whenever my laptop's battery dies, my computer goes into this weird limbo-like state where if you press any key it dings, and the only way to get out of it is to do a hard shut-off and then power on again. It gets really annoying and I have to rush to my charger before it happens or I lose anything I was doing at the time. Can anyone help? Thanks. |

My computer auto-hibernates when the battery gets too low, so I know it's possible. But honestly, I don't remember if I set it to do that or if it came that way. Either way, the setting should be in Power Settings in the Control Panel. |
