I'm using chrome for iOS right now and am liking it so far, however it does not have a reader equivalent so might find it hard to read some blogs. What do you think? |

My favorite feature is the ability to keep watching a video even though you switched to another tab. The video will continue to play in the background, while you're browsing another webpage. Safari doesn't let you do this. That alone has sold me. I do love how you can have unlimited tabs open as well. Finally, opening a YouTube link no longer forces you to watch in the YouTube app. Instead, the HTML5 version of the page opens right inside of Chrome. |

Chrome for iOS is more of a wrapper written around Safari, Granted, it's a really really nice wrapper but it's not the full browser. Apple doesn't allow browsers into the app store that don't use safari's render engine. I think they may not allow access to certain rendering agents also. Such as the newer nitro engine for javascript. Not sure on that though. |

On my third generation iPad, I've been having terrible issues. Every time I press the .com button, the app freezes. I'll close out of the app, start it up again just to have a blank screen. It automatically force quits itself, and then when I open it up, It asks me if I want to restore my tabs. I might use it some day, but for right now, it should have never been released so buggy. |

The only problem, for me at least, is not having the "reader" feature like in Safari. Also, when I try to zoom in on text, by double tapping, it clicks on links instead. |

I think they did a good job. They can't use apples nitro engine, so JavaScript is 1/4 the speed of safari and it really does show. The isle of buttons that include the .com button gets in the way of the search suggestions which bothers me. Sync will not work period on my iPhone 4. Once apple decides to play nice and let them use whatever engines they want, I'll make it my primary. |

Didn't know this was a thing! To the app store!... |

The app freezes before I can do anything. I'm pretty upset but I'll stay tuned for an update. |

It works pretty nice I have to say, much better then I expected. The only time I've got some lag is when it's still loading a page and I'm already trying to interact with it. This could be solved by a bit more advanced theading but once the page is loaded it goes really smooth. I'll definitely be using this on a regular basis. One quick question though, is there any kind of spell checker available? I've got the iOS build in spell checker on (no auto-correct though) and it doesn't show me any grammar mistakes I make... |
