Does anyone know when Google are planning to release the update for the Retina Macbook Pro? I'm sick of using Safari and using Chrome right now will result in crashing which is a result of compatibility issues with the integrated graphics of Ivy Bridge cores so they should really have been ready for this, it's happening to people with the new Air's and updated regular Pro's as well. Also will it be an automatic update or will i have to download it directly from Google? Are they just waiting for Mountain Lion to be released as any new Macbook with the Ivy Bridge cores will have a free upgrade to Mountain Lion which i'm sure we'll all take advantage of? |

i keep getting crashes as a result of using Chrome, i shouldn't be using it i know but it do not like safari having used nothing but chrome since it's release so i'm quite used to it. It was mentioned in the answer above that there would be an auto update to at least stop these crashes before (i assume) they release a retina display version of Chrome, an more news on this since i asked the question two weeks ago? As it's still crashes on me (time use varies it will be fine for hours or just minutes) the auto update must not have been released as of yet, but when and more importantly when will Chrome have a retina version out? |
