My question of the week to you is what do you drink before, during, and after workouts? What is your preferred beverage of choice? If you like water, do you prefer it bottled or out of the tap? Do you have a particular brand that you'd recommend over the rest?

Water or Gatorade, I like bottled Poland Spring or Dasani water, whatever I can find. Gatorade? I like every flavor, I mean it doesn't matter when you work out, lol, you're thirsty, you're thirsty.

I like drinking 1 or 2 heath shakes while doing some lite working out

it also helps keep you energized with about a half pound of sugar and a quarter pound of fat

I drink water. Eska water. If you live in Canada you might want to try it. Otherwise, Evian or Fiji.

I drink water, bottled or tapped, but I always put it in the fridge. I like my water to be cool/cold.

Usually I'll buy a few bottles and fill them up again with tapped water till they're worn out. See it as my personal recycle program. (hey, at least I give it a try in a way)...

About an hour before the workout I usually have just some regular chilled tap water. I usually just try to hydrate before working out to compensate for when I'm working out, so I don't usually drink anything during. After, I just have some chilled tap water and blend up a shake made up of 100% whey and some raw fruits.

I've had good results from drinking seltzer water, which is very lightly flavored, carbonated water. It can be found in the suermarket section with colas and other soft drinks, but has zero (negligible) calories. I like the hint of flavor, and the fact that is has no sugar or other calories. I drink significantly more of it than I used to drink tap water, because of the slight hint of flavor. It's not as heavily flavored as soda, but I've gotten used to it and enjoy it in place of fruit juice and soda, which I used to drink. While it's more expensive than tap water, it's cheaper than sodas and juices, and I like the flavor, and so drink alot of it. Brands I buy are Polar, and store brands.
