I found this device on my bus and it has been four/five days and nobody has asked for it. The IMEI number is not help. The battery is dead so i cannot ring any of the contacts. It is registered with T mobile and has a sim card but don''t feel like calling them as it maybe might not get back to the right owner anyway and that means i need to spend money. It is now in a different county to where it was found as well. Regards |

you have the phone you could find a charger and contact the owner .. the fact the battery is dead is no excuse to say they have not made contact about it . you have the means to find the owner you dont make that attempt I would call it stealing to keep it .. they are making it more and more difficult to be in possesion of lost and stolen cell phones after all they are tracble most can bwe traced even if the sim card is changed today some of the nicer cell phone are getting pretty costly today not to mention the service teift of a cell phone is not really a petty crime any longer between the cost of the phone and service some can range over $1000 talking possible jail time for phone theft now .. |

I would do your best to get it to the owner but if no one comes forward to claim it within a week of you trying to return it, I would keep it. |

Is this a public or private hire bus?
and were you a driver or a passenger?
private and driver
Contact the company that hired you on that job, one of the passengers might have reported their phone as left on the bus. If not, I would consider the phone as yours.
it is a school run and nobody has come up to me
I suggest that you phone the school, ask them if anyone has reported the phone lost.
