I'm trying to buy a new PC because my laptop's motherboard crashed and it's going to cost like $400 to repair it so I'm just going to buy a desktop. Anyone have a recommendation on what brand i should get?
I'm looking for the most affordable choice because I'm low on money right now

I've always recommended HP or Asus - they've always been good to me, but everyone has their own experiences.
I'd say, if you're up to it, go to Newegg.com and check out some combo deals and build your computer. You'll often get a much nicer machine for the price.
But, if that's a bit overwhelming, definitely check out HP. I've always had good experiences with them, and their prices are fair.

I would say ASUS. They do not use the same motherboards as other manufacturers usually do. They are nice , smooth running machines. I am not sure on the customer support but from what my friends say they are average. Not horrible but not fantastic. I do suggest ASUS. I am getting a laptop (I know...you want a desktop , but I am talking about me) from ASUS in a week or so. Hope I helped.
