Would you say that Microsoft or Apple has a better sales strategy with price, customer service/satisfaction, and management? Things that would be ideal to play a part in your answer: Microsoft products are obviously cheaper, Apple products certainly provide quality ( do Microsoft's products? ) , etc. Thanks.

Well Microsoft and Apple has been a great part of my life. I, however, can not simply say "APPLE IS BETTER!!" because I'm currently using it. No, I've been using PCs for a fairly long time and I've worked with a Mac as well. Microsoft has provided some neat stuff in the past few years I must say, Windows XP was great, Vista was shit, 7 was awesome and 8, I'm not looking forward to. Microsoft however, disappoints me when I require technical support. I've grown tired of all the bad experience of Microsoft tech support that at one point I went into the Apple world. Great support, and great stuff. Sure it costs an arm and a leg, but I got what I paid for period. Ever since I was with Apple, I've never forgotten what got me started, Windows. I occasionally need to run Windows and my Macs are capable to run Windows whenever I need without any issues. So, Apple does have the upper hand at sales strategy and they are able to provide customer satisfaction, not saying Windows is bad, because I had my fair share of fun on Windows. Microsoft products like Windows and the console has served me well and will continue to serve me along side the Macs. So that's my say on it.
Cheers, Happy holidays, Aaron

My view is that they both have to be present to be successful to succeed. It may have been one of Chris' videos that talked about how competition is so important. They both provide a completely different experience and I love both companies. For who has a better sales strategy, there are various ways of looking at it and they both have different aspects that they pride themselves on.
To give one example, Apple's advertising strategy, in my mind, completely annihilates Microsoft's as they target everyone and promote their products in a way that shows that anyone is capable of using their product. They do this while also showcasing that there are benefits to be had from using their products, the main benefit on their most recent UK advert for the iPad, education.
This plays a big role in sales because people are expecting what they see on adverts and they do get it.
As a weird sort of example, you will pay to go and watch a magic show and find it breathtaking but I would also bet that after seeing that show many of you would pay more money to find out how it is done. I'm saying that getting more from one product is beneficial.
With Windows, you have the operating system and that is it from Microsoft, although they do offer products like the office suite, but Apple control the App Store and everything that goes into it so that is being given to the customer at the same time.
My overall view is that they are fantastic in different ways.

Apple makes products to satisfy customers, compete, make money and be the best. Microsoft makes products to make money. Apple is in to making Hardware. Microsoft is in to making Software. Apple was first but Microsoft is leading the world. That's my opinion.
