I'm sure you've somewhere heard or have seen an ad saying "Ads via the Deck" or "Ads via Carbon". These are invite only ad providers services. How do they work? Do they ask a website if they want their ads (for £10 a week, for example), and they have advertisers that pay the ad service (say £25 a week) - so the income for the ads service is £15. Is that how it all works?

Thanks.

Er ... yeah ... something like that ...

The current rate for ads (on The Deck) is $8600 USD per ad per month and this rate is valid through July 31, 2012.
