Are you going to upgrade your Mac from previous versions to Mountain Lion? Do you think it's worth updating for the few extra features? |
Yep, it's only $20! I'm most excited for AirPlay, and I'm interested to see how well notifications are implemented. And all the little things they've added to slightly improve the interface seem really nice. |
Yeah, I'll update my MBP to it, seems like a good update and worth it. |
Since I bought the new 2012 Macbook Pro 13'', I get the upgrade for free. So yeah, I'm gonna upgrade! Plus I like the notification center idea, awesome feature on my iPhone. Lets see if it's just as great on the Mac... |
It's a great upgrade and at such a cheap price! Why not? |
Yes, I am going to do a fresh install on my Mac Pro. I am mostly upgrading because of you can do multiple backup drive in time machine. |
Yes I will be updating to ML. I heard performance boost and people saying it feels a bit more snappier than Lion, which works for me! I will always take a performance boost lol! And the only feature that really tickles my fancy is the notification center... Everything else is just meh.... I mean if the chat program works with google talk and facebook, then I'm all game, but right now it seems to only support people who use only iOS devices, which nobody I know, myself included, use. |
Already running the GM, works great! Although some features still don't work (like docs in the cloud and notifications) but I guess that's while apple setups the push servers and I guess that will be soon with next weeks launch. |

You have a an excellent question. But a better form of your question - or at least a question that has to be asked for yours can be answered is: 'CAN' you upgrade to a Mountain Lion? Does your hardware support OS X 10.8? Apple seems to be leaving behind many older systems. Nothing new, in the case of Apple. If your hardware is "Up to par" and you 'CAN' upgrade to Mountain Lion, then by all means you should. Mountain Lion is an improved and optimized version of Lion (just like Snow Leopard was the improved and optimized version of Leopard). On top of it, a $20 upgrade for as many Macs that you 'CAN' update is a damn low. So if you can, go go go |
