I only have $450 and I am wondering if I can pay The Apple Store the money I have and get a financing plan meaning I pay the rest of the amount like weekly or monthly. I don't have the full amount of money and I do want a new Mac Mini but can't afford it full. Will Apple allow me to pay what I have and put the rest on a plan so I can pay it off weekly or monthly?

Why not ask them directly when you are in the store to see if they have that kind of deal where you can pay part of it down right now. And the rest through their Financial plans if they have it. I would usually ask. I know I did something similar at a local motorcycle shop when I needed to get some parts and I mentioned to them that I had some money now. ANd paid them in weekly or monthly as I had the money coming it. They guy was happy and I was happy to buy from them all that time.

Yeah but how can I convince my mom and dad to allow me to do this? There already fussy when I asked them about this! They did the financing plan to pay for my brothers MacBook Pro so why don't they want to do it on something cheaper like the Mac Mini? What could be the problem?

I don't think you can. It's all upfront or in multiple payments. This is the impression I had when I was looking at getting my first Mac. In the end I just saved up and paid all up front.

Ehh, I'd rather pay it off all at once if I were you. You'd save time in the long run, and you feel the satisfaction of buying it and having no ties to the store anymore unless you need repairs. I don't trust financial plans, I always think you spend more money financing than paying it off entirely.

Clearly you are not of age or maturity to be able to do this... So if I were you I would save the remaining amount up!

And still sponging off his parents? Thats just sad! :o(

It sounds like he just needs to finance it under his parent's name, and they wouldn't be paying for it. I did the same thing for a TV I bought at Best Buy. They wouldn't give me a credit card because I had no credit, so I had to get one under my dad's name. He didn't have to pay or do anything. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what it sounds like to me, and I wouldn't call that sponging.

usually these deals have to do with a high interest credit card, so if your criedit can hand another CC it most like will work the limit is most likely going to be set higher then what you are buying either way .. biggest problem withthis is that if you are using it for $300 you will end up paying $900 in 4 years on the balance unless you pay it in cash in 30days and if that is possible why not save a lot of hastle of barrowing wait a month and go buy it at that time with all cash ..

All the Apple products have financing available for them. Go to the online store, choose your hardware and configure it and then click on the financing available button.

I would wait until you have the full amount. I don't see the point on financing something you dont need. and you did say you "want" to get one,
