airport card download speed

i wanted to know how fast the downlad speed of a airport card model m6700ll-e the 802.11 is 11 mbs

Is this for a Mac Mini, Macbook.. Usually they are a G connection. I have a first generation Mac Mini running with a air card inside it and running wireless on it. and it is connected at g which is about 54Mbs on it.
