I've been thinking for a while how great it would be to be part of a site that's like Facebook or Twitter, but is just full of like minded people, sort of like this is. Sometimes I just want to post about something tech related or geeky, but none of my friends on Facebook or followers on Twitter share that same level of interest as I do so it would feel pointless. Like the other week I had only just discovered how useful mobile tethering was on my phone and I felt like telling someone, but there was no where I knew of that had a community like this.

Is there something out there like this but that's not all Q&A based? If not, I might make one if anyone is up for it? lol.

You can always start one... Just write down all the things you want to see in a geeky social network and implement it in yours...
