Hello Lockergnome community

I was watching a youtube video on this guy who was raising funds to do the ultimate gaming rig. He said he was using a site called indiegogo. I read up a little on the site (What was told on their website about the service) And still had a couple questions for anyone who may know about it. What I was wondering was, could I setup a "Film" type of a cause to get better equipment for my videos and thus giving better content? Is there something more that I would need to give back to the contributors?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

You'd either need to have a great idea or a nice community behind you already to actually get this done. The idea to start a fund raiser or kickstarter (other website with the same idea) for making video content is something you can easily do but you need to make sure your contributors get what they pay for (better video content in your case).

The guy starting a fund raiser for a ultimate gaming rig probably has quite some subscribers on Youtube that want him to play better games in higher quality thus needing a better computer.

Thanks, his channel is Unbox Therapy, and he does have quite a few subs. In this case he is raising the funds to actually build it and give it back to the community in a random drawing.
