I would email the person a link to download the file from somewhere like mediafire, google drive, or dropbox.

I don't think that you are going to get a "fast" way of uploading. If you can, put it on a hard drive and take it to who ever you are trying to bring the video to.

I was gonna say this point with all we have to work with why would you email big files there are so many other easy ways ..

Private FTP Server, meeting the person if possible, etc.

I would agree with DJ Scooby Doo here on this one. Then just have then install Filezilla on the remote end. And let them know the External IP address and port number to use with username and password. Then have them download it on their end. Once done you can shut down the connection fter the file transfer. Sooo much easier and even faster when it is done internall on a Lan.
