So i am going back to windows 7 from windows 8 and i need to store some avi files i have on my computer. I already have idrive but that cannot hold them all. I have moved a few onto my other computer and now that is full and i still have a few. If i upload to YT it is going to take 400 odd minutes to upload and i have about 20 of them. Dropbox etc cannot hold them. Any idea? |

You should either A) Buy an external hard drive to store them all, B) Get a SkyDrive, C) Combine as much services you can to upload them all, or D) Burn them to DVDs. 2
I personally recommend you run to the nearest Best Buy and for $70+ tax you can get your files safely backed up. Here's an external hard drive that's cheap: http://goo.gl/nws0e
2
Then run to a PC World and get yourself a hard drive, because since none of the uploading options work for you, get a local option. Here's one I found here: http://goo.gl/AEaHn, or on Amazon.co.uk: http://goo.gl/KUM72 2
It would be the fastest option just to get an external hard drive. |

the news on UEFI is like this windows announced they were going to lock win 8 from having anything else including other version of window like winXP .. how ever as it turned out Intel reveal windows was being conplete honest the Intel I386 would have to be unlock-able the Arm chip will could be and would be completely lockable this was all just before the beta release after intel news broke it was shortly after Microsoft broke with news about no DVD or bluray play on media player it would be pay to play, then they broke the new about surface which would be a arm based tablet by Microsoft .. so 2 things hold true any Arm based with windows will be locked and any I386 that is not intel on the inside I dont really have to give links to any of this it is very easy to find with a search on Google now there is thousands of hits for this news .. Well that's for tablets, as I'm looking on Google. Nothing about laptops or desktops here. anything that is not intel at this point but that dont mean they wont be locked because intel has securtiy encription of its own planed .. http://www.bgr.com/2012/03/09/arm-devices-running-windows-8-will-have-locked-bootloaders/ As I'm seeing here, only ARM devices. Ah well, that's why I'm not buying another computer because I'm fine with the ones I have already. And Windows 8 RP is running like a dream on my Dell Latitude D620. |
