Will the only method of paying bills be online in the future ? or will it still be mailed the old fashioned way? i was just curious to know this because companies now are making us make a choice of how to pay our bills , but i do see the old way of paying bills by mail to be the old way, what do you think??

I think that at some point in the future all bill paying will go paperless and be online to be environmentally friendly and to cut costs. However, this may not happen for a long time because my grandparents do not use any online bill paying at all, they still mail in the check. So there will be a while before we switch to all online, but I do see it happening.

I think majority of billing will go online and paperless, but I believe that until the process can be used by majority of the paying public and the technology can be cheaply used by smaller companies that have billing needs we will probably not see a full transition. Small companies like small locally owned utility companies, small businesses, etc have limited budgets and the costs are still out of the range of quite a few of these companies.
So in conclusion:
2) Other adults who are not fully secure with the technology and prefer dealing in person
3) Cost of online billing
