I only really use Facebook for the messenger service now, it doesn't feel as important to me as it once did and I can get everything else from Twitter. Anyone else agree? |
|
Agreed. Facebook used to be far more interesting, but it's just losing its appeal. Since I've started using Google+ more and more, I've noticed how refreshing it is to use. However, only a handful of my friends are on Google+ and maybe 2 even bother to check it every month. |

I only use facebook for the message service too. I really want to get off of facebook but my main way of contacting my friends is though facebook :-( 1
Exactly my problem, I'm trying to find a good messenger app so I don't have to be on the site all the time. 1
Lol sorry I meant like something for my desktop, but I think there is a way to link it with ichat so I might try that. Oh, you have a Mac. For Windows there's this: https://www.facebook.com/appcenter/fbcamera_windows?fb_source=appcenter I'll be using that when my laptop is fixed thanks! Something like that on the mac would be nice though..hopefully they will release it soon. |

I use Twitter as my main social network, Google+ as my geek network and Facebook, well, I have it... Just leave it at that... |
|
Not for me, Facebook is still live as ever for me and a lot of people in my school. Tumblr in New York is strictly for hipsters or females, and Twitter, well not that many people use Twitter in my school anymore. Ehh, Facebook is getting a little stale but not that much. Instagram however, that's the place to be apparently. |

face book is a good service it is a messanging spot and keep up point , it can get stale if its all you do you really have to learn how to leaverage everything social networks can do for you ... more people use blogs today and they use facebook and other service to spread the links to there message , if your not big into there games and aps it has nothing to offer really .. I said this before it is I breleve a matter of when not if facebook starts charging not only for time line service but games it will be a ghost town there are millions on the fence onw leg away from falling away from facebook .. alot of it to is the pictures with the statments and comments to many get old they have take over G+ too now blahh |

I actually started using Facebook heavily back in December of 2011, so I haven't been active Facebook for a long time (years) like most people have and I presume that is why my Facebook experience hasn't lost its fervor yet. |

I have an account there yet I never use it, it does not service any real purpose for me, I use Twitter for as a social outlet which only started last year, for the longest time I also saw no point in it. Its simple nature is one thing I love about it. I like Google plus more though I never use it either, basically I would have the same people in six different locations, I just have other methods of contacting others like Twitter, notes, YIM (yep, most of my friends still use messengers) and e-mail which is more rare. |
