IE6 is far too old, I would be curious to any reason for use one that old aside from those who never updated it.

Yeah sometimes I do. IE 9-10 works pretty good, but by no means will I switch.

If anyone on this forum is still using IE6, they should be immediately banned from using the forum due to the security risks! ;o)

And for using Internet Explorer in the first place... LOL

Using IE6? Anyone who uses that thing has total Masochistic tendencies! The IE6, single handedly, is the biggest floodgate of viruses to Windows bases machines! Even mentioning the name of IE6 would scare the b'Jesus out of me and / or any sane netizen.

I haven't used IE 5 or better in ages on my ersonal computers over here that are running windows. I am mostly on Chrome or Firefox depending on the Operating system in question like Linux or using a different web browser for my mac mini over here. But where I used to work at a local call centre they were still using IE6 since they had a huge amonunt of web applications that were best ran under IE 6 and never bother to upgrade them to the better ones or use firefox or google chrome for that matter. It's weird that some companies that use web based applications don't upgrade so quickly to newer web browsers.

Having a modern browser version is the best way to insure that you can view all content consistently on the internet. IE6 was the first version of IE that supported vector graphics from the internet. It's likely that when HTML5 is stabilized that IE8 will no longer be used. You can't even use Microsoft Update with IE6. Using IE6 would be a very very bad idea.
