Do you love to read; what's the first book you ever read?

The first book in English that I read was the The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, and the first book I read in Spanish was Nacho: Libro Inicial de Lectura version Dominicano (Nacho: Initial Reading Book, Dominican version) by Jorge Luis Osorio and Raul Vargas. I've always been fascinated in books ever since I was a little kid, and I remember at 4 or 5, I grabbed a Anne of Green Gables novel from my Aunt's bookshelf and read it cover to cover. Do you love to read, and what's the first book you ever read?

Probably along the lines of The Very Hungry Caterpillar ... can't be certain but some of the books that I do remember are the Captain Underpants books. I used to love those books!
