Driver (game not actual hardware driver) freezes after 2 seconds on the main menu screen

Hey Lockergnome,

I just bought Driver at the Steam summer sales and I want to play it right now, the only problem is that after I've seen the logo's and it takes me to the main menu it takes two seconds before it freezes completly and I'm unable to do anything.

I'm trying to play driver on my MacBook Pro (OXS Lion) 17 Inch late 2011 which can run Portal 2 at max graphics without any problems.

Do any of you know what could be causing this freeze?

If you're not experiencing any hardware problems I would suggest that this is a question you should be addressing to the Steam support forum. Steam

Thanks I didn't really know about that (silly me). Also I'm not the only one experiencing this problem so the developers have to give out an update with a fix and some people there are 'demanding' some sort of refund for this bug..

Try to verify it or maybe get a steam support ticket. It should work.

Verifying didn't do anything. I'll try a support ticket, any idea on the ETA of a response?
