MAC: Well Macs are much more reliable, How? Because Macs and the Macbook Air can use have Solid State Technology making them much better then a netbook... Meaning that they are msily). If you can see the Pixels, like on a standard screen it can be annoying (Especially when having to read PDFs, eBooks, etc.). Macbook Pro's are also epic when it comes to having to do a ton of work (Photo Editing Class is an example). iMacs or Mac Minis our good for the destops (Example: iMacs for the staff, Mac Minis for the student accessible Macs) But a Mac Mini will have to use at least a 1024p screen so people wont be bothered as easily by pixels.

Windows PC: One of the oldest types of computer types... As these are more commonly used more then its enemy, Macs... When Microsoft announced Windows 1.0 a ton of people got it, the bad thing, RAM was not like 2 GB, it was like upto 2MB at that time, (Biggest RAM probably 130MB), and Windows used a TON of resources, then Steve Jobs and someone I cant remember made the Apple I, the FIRST GOOD functional Computer for home/business. Over the time Microsoft grew bigger and bigger. Over the time they updated Windows. Making Windows 9x was Microsofts Big success, then XP, Vista, and 7, 8, and the NT, 2000, Server, Workstations. On higher end machines, they most likely used Linux, Microsofts Gaming Competitor. To fix things up, Microsoft opened Onlive (Onlive Gaming, Onlive Desktop, Onlive Blah Blah...).

So which is better for business or Educational usage [Mac or PC] Also shouldn't apple add the Optical Disk Back to the MacBook Pro?

So i just cant resit...

"Well Macs are much more reliable, How? Because Macs and the Macbook Air can use have Solid State Technology" So can PCs

"making them much better then a netbook" Wait what? where did that come from

"If you can see the Pixels, like on a standard screen it can be annoying" **Looking at your screen an inch away is not good for your eyes, I cant see the pixels on my screen"

"Macbook Pro's are also epic when it comes to having to do a ton of work (Photo Editing Class is an example)." Try getting decent CAD software on a Mac

"iMacs or Mac Minis our good for the destops (Example: iMacs for the staff, Mac Minis for the student accessible Macs) But a Mac Mini will have to use at least a 1024p screen so people wont be bothered as easily by pixels." Your eye doctor will love you some day

"Windows PC: One of the oldest types of computer types... " Wrong! Windows has never been a "computer type" But Macs use the same Intel architecture as PCs.

"When Microsoft announced Windows 1.0 a ton of people got it, the bad thing, RAM was not like 2 GB, it was like upto 2MB at that time, (Biggest RAM probably 130MB), and Windows used a TON of resources" Damn you don't know your computer history. Windows 1 was not a success, it nearly fell on its ass. It was not even a OS, just a program that sat on top of DOS. The system requirements for Windows 1.0 were 256KB of RAM, DOS 2.0 and two floppy drives, You may have had a couple of MB in your computer... If you could afford it.

"then Steve Jobs and someone I cant remember made the Apple I, the FIRST GOOD functional Computer for home/business." Wow for someone who loves apple you don't know much about the company. The "someone" was none other then Steve 'The Woz' Wozniak. The Apple Lisa came out BEFORE windows 1.0. and the first GOOD functional computer was the IBM PC, did not make it in the home market but IBM made the PC JR, which did not do so hot.

"Over the time Microsoft grew bigger and bigger." At least you got something right

"Making Windows 9x was Microsofts Big success" That was more like Windows 3.1

"On higher end machines, they most likely used Linux, Microsofts Gaming Competitor." HAHAHAHAHA, YOU THINK LINUX IS A GAMING COMPETITOR!!! Linux as proven time and time again it is great with servers, but not gaming, recently Linus Torvalds in a public lecture flicked the graphics chip maker Nvidia off saying 'F$&@ YOU' because of their lack of support for the Linux platform. Nvidia makes some of the best graphics chips out there for gaming.

Final thoughts... You have no clue what you are talking about, almost everything you said is 100% false! You also talk about gaming, How does that have to do with education? How does the History of where windows came from change how it is now used in education.

Next time do your research and don't post false garbage like this.

It's not even worth bothering trueb, if these people are not trolls, they will not listen to reason :L That's a fact. There are some stupid and ignorant people out there, and I get the impression this is one of them. He classes this as a question, but he seems to have already made his mind up. :L

I know that this will have very little impact, but I just cant leave such stupidity on the internet without trying to do my part to correct it.

I should also say that Ronald Wayne was also one of the three, yes three, who founded apple. But he got out early on.
