Have You Encrypted A Windows Tablet PC? Because it is a tablet there does not appear to be any real way to encrypt it without needing a keyboard to type in the password at bootup. Truecrypt tends to be my go to program however that cannot be used as it needs a boot password. Searching for awhile and still nothing that can encrypt a tablet pc without a keyboard so I thought I would check to see if anyone else has ever found a way to do so. |

Why would you need to do this, there is no reason to encrypt it, if someone was so desperate, they could easily, well not easily, but still its not worth the trouble
What about an on screen keyboard?
I was curious if there was a way to do it, so far I have not found a way without a keyboard which I do have, I do not always know if it would work correctly at bootup which is where it tends to come on.
Reason?
I like security, I tend to go overboard with it at times, as of now I just have a windows password and anything protected inside if needed. Not that there is anything really to hide, my system is basic, docs, photos, very simple.
This is a Windows pc tablet from Motion Computing, the on screen keyboard is after I boot into windows.
