I currently have it downloading on both my iMac and MacBook Pro and can't wait to give it a try! For those of you who have already downloaded it, what is your opinion if it?

I'm going to download it a bit later (at night, maybe 1am-2am Eastern) when Apple's servers aren't hit as hard. It looks like a good upgrade for $20, I can tell you that. I can't wait for Messages so I can finally talk to my friends on iMessage that have been waiting for me to upgrade.

Though, Apple did release a beta for the Messages app for Mac OS X Lion a while ago. I've been using it for several months and it works great.

^True, but now it's out of beta which is good, they worked out the kinks.

I've only had it for short time but I think it's a fantastic OS. In fact I'm using voice dictation to write this. It recognizes my voice better than I thought it would. Sadly my computer is not compatible with the new airplay feature. Safari also seems much faster now. Overall I think it would be a five star OS. Good work Apple!

If you run Lion servers..you might want to wait. All servers must have ML installed if any of your client machines has ML. Also some of my fonts look terrible throughout the system. Especially Century Gothic.

There are some nice new features..however..some apps may not work in ML. SO READ before you install.

Since I bought the 2012 13'' MBP, I got the free update. Have to say, it's feels like it's running smoother than Lion. At least ML has better RAM management, that's for sure. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed about is notification center. You can't add third party apps (yet). Other than that, I like it! :)

It's nice, I'm super bummed about my computer not working with AirPlay mirroring. But everything else is cool. It's not a huge update but there are a lot of little things that improve the experience, like notifications, dictation and the changes they made to Safari.

UPDATE: I just found out you can playback AVCHD (.MTS) files in Quicktime in Mountain Lion. AWESOME!!!

I've got it and I haven't used or noticed any difference from Mac OSX Lion. Notification center is yet to be used since I'd only put Facebook and Twitter on it but those have to be updated in order to support that. The Airplay is going to be awesome once I get some friends over at my place and we are going to watch some youtube videos or just check some fun stuff online on our massive TV.

Other then that I only noticed that the dock bar graphic changed and I don't really like this more white look to it (if you know how to change it back please tell me :) )

Been using Mountain Lion on my Mac Pro for the past few days, and I have to say i'm liking it. Nothing too revolutionary, but everything seems to be in working order and it is definitely a step in the right direction. The only thing I have had an issue with is Mail seems to loose connection with accounts when you sleep the computer, but I am sure thats just a bug, and it will be fixed in the next OS update.
