With the shiny new outlook mail service; they saying abandon of hotmail.com tag. So what's for live.com tag? I seriously like live.com tag over shiny new outlook.com. |

why the comparison already ???? if anyone truly try to push this negative at this point unless they were one of the fortunate few who have had the opportunity to use it during the last months it was under wrap as new-mail I would have to say they are being negative for the sake of being negative .. i have had the opportunity to use it for a bit , it is quicker , I am not a big fan of metro with out touch screen how ever it is slick modern and defiantly aim directly at making Gmail look like old man obsolete .. outlook has a shiny new reputation Hotmail is done for all that have a Hotmail address or live for that matter these account swill only run side by side for now there are warning all over the new mail that the live and Hotmail features that have been used for year will be gone soon .. outlook mail is not only new its familiar been around for year up till 2006 as the name of Microsoft mail program in windows now on its cloud, it is more business professional then hot mail in I would say dead aimed at its business class customer being part of Microsoft office 2013 mail , also plugs into bing, Facebook you-tube and RSS feed of you blog your LinkedIn resume and more .. I recommend if you have one of them hard to get user names and you would like getting it with out all the numbers before and after rather then sitting and insulting something you know nothing about go and get your outlook.com user name now while most name are not taken .. how ever if you are like me not usuing windows do take a long look at the new service first :) because once signed up and logged in unles you asre using windows the new service all but mail vanishes the new service are for win7 & 8 users .. |

I'll just stick with Gmail. Again, Microsoft responded a little too late with this. Sure, the claim is over a million new users signing up after going 'live', but people are creatures of habit, so I seriously doubt if Gmail users, or Yahoo for that matter, will really change to @outlook... |

I'v just switched over to the outlook.com interface and I do like it. I'm not going to be switching my live(.com & .co.uk) accounts over to outlook.com... personally, saying davidclare1[at]live.com sounds better than saying davidclare1[at]outlook.com. 1
yeah I can under stand that outlook gives the eel of a future and open minedness outlook even sounds and feel up in the cloud :) Live on the other hand is an indication you possiblly breath . besides you wont have to move your address some time after win 8 is released hot mial and live will come to an end from all I see and hear they will not be left as an option microsofr is cutting its tie with the old making all the bold new moves GUess what for all you xbox users your microsoft announced they are moving Xbox from the living room it will be interconnected with all win 8 devices and cloud services .. I've took the leap over anyway, seeing as I wanted my own name with no numbers and sunch. It's a good job someone with my aneme didnt get there first =) 1
yeah you still can keep the old address with pout issue I would think in the end they will merg at some point thing is you have the name registered and ready for the possiblity .. |

I made a new account on outlook.com, and I actually prefer the email address there. Still prefer Gmail though, it is too simple for me. Though I don't even use the webmail client.... Actually I may use it lol. I just wish Gmail had more domains than just gmail.com so I can get the email address I want... :( |

I really enjoy the new outlook.com. I made an account just to check it out. I really enjoy the layout. Besides @outlook.com sounds professional. |
