The japanese have launched a new Robot called - Kurata that's 13ft tall, weighs 4.5 tonnes and fires 6,000 ball-bearing pellets a minute or at least for now until someone changes those mini-guns up for real live ammo ones :/ It also has a giant claw for... clawing things i guess. It has face recognition technology that ominously reacts to your smile as a camera would and is controlled remotely as well being able to control it via an iphone app. The first thing that comes to mind is that this will inevitably see it's way into military's around the world to act as a drone/tank for urban or open combat which means it'll be beefed up further with better armour, guns, anti-aircraft rounds etc this can only end badly for whoever is on the receiving end of this 'iron man' http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2012/jul/30/japanese-gun-toting-smartphone-controlled-robot So i have to ask, should i get training for Judgement day and dig myself a bunker ready to take on those dastardly Terminators? :/ |

Don't worry. You can probably take it down with a moded stun gun or a supersoaker. LOL! Heed these words. Beware the revenge of the nerds. All materials have their weaknesses. |

Don't worry. The time till terminator is still a long time. This build cost one and a half million to build, and will most likely cost more here to build one like that Also, this is more related to Japanese Gundams, which is known to be big and tall and have many features (similar to the one shown). Here is one example from one of my anime RSS feeds recently http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/interest/2012-07-25/gundam-age-psp-game-5-minute-promo-streamed and there is a lot of shows you can see to get an idea. |

Prepare for unforeseen consequences...
