I've been waiting for what seems like an age for Google add Retina support to Chrome text was pixelated and it would crash my system, i've been using canary as suggested which has support for the retina display however it's not very stable. Images will flash at times and youtube vids play as a blank screen or all garbled so it's use is somewhat limited my internet use. Google have released the update for chrome to support the retina display so i re-downloaded chrome to have the most up to date version and the text looks great....but it just crashed on me, again! :/ What's going on!? Have they not fixed the issue with the Intel 4000 integrated graphics yet because they've had months to fix it with allot of computers using the chip it's pretty ridiculous they didn't get a jump on this sooner.

Help! Please don't suggest using Safari, i hate it!

Man, I love Safari. It's fast, and the updated interface is as sleek and efficient as any!

I know it's not the best out there but have you tried the updated version of safari? Ever since it was updated, it runs a little faster. I don't know why you hate it but if it's the speed that you hated then that has been improved since the last version. But I don't know of any alternatives as I have yet to get my Retina Pro. So that being said, I wish luck to you on resolving the issue!

It's like being asked to go back to Internet Explorer, it's not the performance as such it's that the program just doesn't have a good set up/feel to it at all especially after using Chrome for a long time now. To each their own etc

I really don't know why it's still crashing after the update though, Chrome is having this issue with all chips with Intel Integrated 4000 graphics so allot of users are being affected by this. I can understand having to wait for a retina update but these chips have been out for a long time now, they should have fixed this by now!

Yeah it definitely sounds annoying. I'm a little shocked that it's taking Google so long to fix it. I hope by the time I get my Pro it will be fixed. Although by my estimates I'll have mine in a month or two. I'm thinking a lot of the bugs will be worked out by then... I hope...

is there anything that can be done in relation to flash on Canary? Since it's not playing videos properly at all it could be an issue with that, but how to fix it? :/
