What is AirDrop?

Airdrop is Apple's glorified version of local network file sharing in Lion. It's never worked for me.

I don't know if it'll make much sense, but I believe that if they do, iOS would need a paradigm shift and really think things through. Apple is most of the times late to the party regarding new features; but when they implement something, they really pull it off. Let's hope that it'll always be that way!
