Hmm, it does that from time to time when the connection starts to time out. Try clearing the cache and restarting your computer and modem and it should work fine.alt text

I would usually do that myself as well. Clear the cache and cookies in the browser. Then do a simple clean disk to get rid of any files in the temp directory and a few other places that can be done with the disk clean up that comes with windows. Also I would run after this nifty little application that I had found when I was helping out a local hospital when they had a virus scare a number of years ago. And it is a free application that clears even more temp files than disk clean up does that comes with windows itself.

And it usually does the charm since there could have been a corrupt file when trying to load the page up locally from your hard drive itself and went wonky on you.

i have noticed some minor odd behavior since they made the small changes but nothing like that at all. what I have noticed is if you have a long URL copy and pasted all the text will beoutside the box cover over the banners before it wraps around ..

short URLs dont have the same effect ..

That is part of the OSQA code and not part of lockergnome's fault

Although we made some slight modifications to the site, mostly very little (like new permanent pages, extend the footer info, and slight karma cases) and should not effect the overall of the site. We are using the standard CSS by the provider OSQA (though it really need a nice upgrade to the design). You may have to reset your cache and reset the browser, it may be picking something that was not completed in the temporary directory.

I've seen this issue before. I can confirm that it was on my side and it isn't the site's problem.

It occurs when, for whatever reason, the connection to the site is lost mid-connection. The browser doesn't get all of the resources and to make it worse the browser caches this. Making it reappear more frequently. The best way to fix it would be to clean your cache and history from the browser. Or if you notice it happens again just hold Shift and click refresh or hold Shift and press F5. This will (on the major browsers) make it reload without cache.

just thought I would toss this in like I said for the most part it is minor how ever ,

What ever was done with the changes to the right side bar has effected the width and is effecting the buttons links and text in the post area of the form they hang over into the right sode bar. .

links that are copied and pasted in a message that are longer then the text wrap around point cause the text of the whole post to show up across the whole window even after post is made .. this can be re created time and time again with the chrome browser not sure about others..

This has happened to me with many websites, but I usually reload the page, then it appears normally.

I do that as well, minor browser error. I posted a question because the refresh didn't help.
