I have the Retina Pro so accessories are a must lol I have a Lacie Porche design 2tb USB 3.0 external drive that's incased in aluminium so it looks good next to the Mac :) As there's no disc drive in the Retina Pro i bought myself a Samsung external DVD writer, nothing special but works good and have only used it twice which is testament to Apple choice not to include a disc drive in this model, most people rarely use them and if you do just get an external and you'll get the benefits of a slimmer lighter laptop. A thunderbolt - ethernet convertor is again a must for this model, i've only used it once so far as i don't have an ethernet port in my room or living room but i am moving soon where it will get used allot more. The next one isn't so much a Mac specific accessory but it is worth mentioning, i bought the Creative Tactic Recon 3D Omega Wireless headset (such a long name lol) that is an excellent choice for both Mac & PC users and even console players as it works with PC, Mac, 360 & PS3! Great quality, very well made with good quality sound & bass with the recon device improving the quality with THX surround sound feature or scout mode which magnifies certain sounds such as footsteps in games to give you an edge. The wireless range is good and the internal rechargeable battery lasts up to eight hours. They're expensive at £180 but well worth it as they are very good quality and cross platform that work right away after plugging them in, i'd give them an 8/10 it would be higher but the only draw back is that after long use (two hours onwards) they loose some comfort where your ears begin to press again the inside plastic. That being said though i have a big head at 61cm so it's probably just me, if your head is 'normal size' lol then this shouldn't be a problem for you. After that just a gaming mouse, the Razer Deathadder, i prefer a traditional wired mouse and since i game a bit the mighty mouse just wasn't going to cut it but the Deathadder works great!
And that's it so far, i do however have a new laptop messenger bag on order so i have something better to take my Mac out with, i went for the Pakuma Choroka K2 15.6inch which is a pretty good back with a well protected area for the Mac but to be sure i also ordered the 15.4 inch Pakuma Laptop Bag ECO Cocoon to around the Mac itself. if you're wanting something to keep you Mac safe when outdoors and your current bag isn't cutting it Google Pakuma and check out their website, they have a video for each of their products imbedded so you can have a good look at them :)
