I am fixing a Dell Latitude D800 for my aunt. It doesn't want to POST. It will turn on but nothing will be on the display. There are no error codes. I've reset the fan, and ram. |

Does the back light screen light up on the screen to at try and see if it comes on. Because it sounds like it might be a connection problem between the motherboard and the tft screen that is there that is not lighting up there. I have seen this on a few laptops where the alignment was not there or it some how got unseated from the connection slot on the motherboard.
