Probably not. Them things are expensive at this point. I'd imagine they'd go after the portable market first (the entire MacBook line).

I think retina displays in ALL apple devices that have screens is inevitable. Will people buy them? Who knows. I think retina displays in the iMac is completely doable. If they do make a 27" Retina Display iMac, guarantee there to be at least a $1000 price increase though. Retina Displays are not the cheapest things to manufacture, especially the larger they get. It would definately have an insane resolution. They'll probably work them into the cinema displays as well eventually. Its all just a matter of time.
