I am trying to find an engineer to interview. Must be in the working in a working field of engineering. This is a class project and would like a response no later from Saturday (8-18-2012). There is a rule about not soliciting work, I would be careful with this question.

seriously? it is a student asking for help... I don't think the reason behind the rule is to keep people from asking for this kind of help...
My dude, I understand you but look at what he says though. He's looking for someone to interview, I get it, but still. This isn't a question, either way.
From the Site Rules:
No Solicitation - You may not ask for invites to websites such as Google+, Spotify, etc. You may not advertise your website or blog. Additionally, you may not recruit or ask for employees to help you with your website, blog, or service.
Regardless of that, this isn't a question anyway.
However, my father is an engineer. He's been doing it for a good 30 years and is regarded as one of the best network engeners in the UK. I doubt he'd be up for chatting with you though!
