Well there is this laptop I was attempting to fix . I have fixed pretty much everything except for the time when you close the laptop and open it back up and bring it out of sleep mode , system startup repair is there and you have to click cancel to use the computer. Give me options? Simple? xD Thanks.

At the Command prompt enter the following:

bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No

This will disable Startup Repair from automatically booting when there is a problem.

However, BEWARE.....

You'll have to get back into Windows as and Admin to re-enable it... just change the No to Yes.

yup you defiantly dont want the repair feature turned off generally even if it cant fix the problem it will be one of the first signals something is wrong before the big crash ..

i would also make sure you really have it fixed :)
