I'm getting a new MacBook Pro with retina display within the next few weeks! And now I like to find out how much my windows laptop is worth it has a broken hinge and cracked screen case but the rest works just fine I would like to sell it for parts where do I go to price out my computer to see how much it is worth today? Any ideas? |

Well, I don't suggest you sell it to a shop. Best bet would be to check around the prices for those parts of yours and then tone it down a little, sell off on eBay or Craigslist or some sort of advertisement sites. Else, get it fixed and sold as second hand, though that means coughing out some cash. |

if the mother board is good it will be valuable to someone with the same laptop who needa board bet they would be willingto pay a few dollar not a lot but something .. that is the problem with laptops and why consumers and manufactures are running from them it cost more to repair them then it does to replace them they are selling at below parts and labor cost.. move to ultrabook , notebook , mac has people willing to pay $800 to $1500 for which is above cost above labor a they have less part most are not upgrade able or repairable if they break after the warrenty time is up you toss em and buy another .. |
