I personally like gaming on a PC over an Xbox 360 or something else, what do YOU like better? |
|
For first person shooters, computers are better. It's way easier to aim and all... For any other games, both can be great. But as a collector, I'd rather use consoles. |

I prefer PC Gaming, because you can't build your own console! |

i prefer console gaming because a console is a one time buy and youre good for several years. I dont want to keep upgrading everything all the time. Plus I absolutely hate keyboard and mouse, prefer controller. |

I'm a bit of both as @ABouchard55 said, first shooters, you can't beat a PS3 or a 360. You have your multiplayer options and it's portable to some degree that you could just go to your friends' house and just chill the whole day playing Call of Duty. PC, I love to play games such as L.A. Noire, San Andreas, etc. You could always plug in a USB controller and get at it if you want a controller experience. I guess I'm kind of like @jrdn, with not upgrading and keeping with what I got for a while. San Andreas plays perfectly on Almost every computer, until you play games like GTA IV where you might get lag from moving from mediocre graphics to almost real life graphics. I'm more of a PC gamer, but I love me console gaming as well. |

So far I have only played games on the console. Except for a really long time ago, I played Harry Potter on the computer at the library, and sometimes I would be there for like 5 hours playing those computer games. I only played console games so far, but I recently got bored of playing console games. So bored, that I gave my Xbox to my brother. I haven't played any games in over 5 months. But, I am looking to building a PC, and maybe I might start gaming on the computer. My laptop here... I tried to play games on it, but it is just not powerful enough to give me a good experience. |

I like console gaming better mainly because the controller is much easier to use than mapping actions to my keyboard and mouse (or PC gamepad) since console games are designed to use the specific controller that the system it was designed to be played on. Also playing games with the keyboard just doesn't feel very comfortable. Not to mention that you need to have a powerful enough computer to play games on (and need to constantly upgrade your computer to keep up with the latest games), especially with more resource intensive games. Also there are many games you just can't get on the PC, though those are generally exclusive games like Maro Games, Ratchet and Clank games, etc., but still those are the type of games I like (I don't like FPS games at all). Mainly, the games I play on my computer are just small web games when I'm bored, though I did used to play Midtown Madness 2 online in the past. |
