I want to start my own blog, and it will about about recent stories. Whether about technology, music, or news in general. How does one go about blogging on those categories? Should one just read the news from a dedicated website and then re-tell the story in your own words? Should one quote the source? Any plugs would be highly appreciated.

well its either that or try some getting the new you write your self or hire people in other areas to get new from where they are for you ..

personally I spend about 12 to 14 hours a days surffing blogs news site news feeds radio tv news CNN everything I can to stay up to data even then mostly I reblog and resyndicate most things ..

if you havea on line group or team all interested in working with you from all over it gets far easyer in ways . just one person its tough to be everything , keeping the site going working out advertising reading keeping up to date writeing 4 to 8 staorys every day or more the more you write and blog the more you will be seen ..

I would do a mix of your own words, and what you think is the "original" or most reliable source quotes. Then at the end put a [via Site you got your info from here].
