I have a jailbreaking new iPad, I was wonder if anything will happen if I update to iso6 coming soon this year. Will I be able to update on my jailbreak device normally? Will the jailbreak still be there or not once I updated? Plz Help me, I need more info! Thxs. |

What will happen is when you update, you'll lose your jailbreak, as normal. There is no iOS 6 jailbreak so far, so you'll just have to wait until there is a jailbreak for it. 1
Just to add on to DJ's post, Do not ever update directly from your device when jailbroken. Because updates are "delta" updates now they will only change the files that are updated, however this can lead to problems if you install anything that modifies these files. This can lead to, basically running your own firmware. Then you get iTunes errors, device errors, and occasionally even jailbreak errors. We do not discuss this here! Please refrain of the talk about Jailbreaking! @MyFunkyDesigns Funny because there isn't a single word in the FAQ or Rules involving jailbreaking or the discussion of it. In the future though, if you feel someone is breaking the rules maybe let a moderator know. You have no power to tell others what should and shouldn't be talked about. Keep your own opinions to yourself until either a moderator/admin says something about it, or the rules are updated. Have a nice day. |
