Hey guys, I have recently bought a new laptop for when I'm on the go (a COMPAQ CQ57-425SR), I'll mainly use this for audio recording, skype calls and internet browsing on this. Anyway, I was installing Windows 7 (64 bit), the installation went through without a problem, until that part where it is supposed to restart on it's own, the installation ends. Then I got this error: "Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows on this computer, restart the installation" The laptop starts up just fine, everything works, but should I be worried? I reinstalled windows a couple of times and the same error pops up, yet everything works. Any tips? Thanks. |

why are you concerned if its working ??? you know what they say " if its not broke don't fix, if its is dont blame me " cnaces are the biggest issue is a bad sector on the HD that needs to be worked around if it happens everytime the same point .. just run check disk on it and let it run se how it goes .. I agree, do a disk check, and maybe do a DBAN on the drive, and maybe it'll sort it's self out. http://www.dban.org/ |
