[closed] Blogging Network for Geeks

Any alterantives to what Chris used to run on Lockergnome.com, like some sort of Tech blog service? Lockergnome.com is not what it used to be and seems more exclusive now. I was wondering if there was public service.

IM not sure what or how you mean more exclusive now, what I found when I clicked the your link was an old feed burner from about 5 years ago ..

I dont believe it has became to exclude anyone to be honest it is in in every way more inclusive , I think what you see as exclusive is really more evolved , what worked 5 years ago is old now many things have changed ok everything has changed ...

That was a capture from the wayback machine, lockergnome was once a blogging network and you could get an account like lockergnome.com/yourname

so in your mind you believe it is exclusive or to exclusive because it not open to just anyone ??

its a pretty big liability to risk leaving any type of site open today to the randomness and insanity people think they can get away with on line they would never pull in public , Whats worse is that in the end its not the people who behave in these ways who take the beating its always the reputation of the site and the site owner the takes the hit ..

I have my blog open for anyone to register right now , and because of this I receive email everyday from company's rejecting me for things simply based on that fact do a long hard search on line for blogging networks and you will find most of the best have a whole process you have to go through and rule you have to live up to its like condo living not one worth being part of free is just sign up or free even ..

many of the better advertisers to will turn you down too if there is content of some link or some one they don't like on your site appearance is a big deal when you are trying run a business to earn a living online ..
