I am aware that you change your avatar via Gravatar but how? I signed up for gravatar and set an avatar, went to edit profile and clicked on gravatar but no option to say yes change it? confussed...

it takes time to update, sometimes a couple days in my experience.

You're either doing something wrong or not giving it enough time. All the other duplicate questions give details on how to properly set up your gravatar. If it doesn't change then wait a while, it can take weeks.

If you've exhausted every option and waited a few weeks and it still doesn't work then contact an admin (http://lockergnome.net/staff/) as the issue could be related to your account - hopefully they can do something from their end.

Avatars are handled through Automattic's Gravatar service. Go to Gravatar.com, make an account and upload a photo. Within minutes your avatar will change.

didn't work... the e-mail used to sign up for lockergnome.net and Gravatar is the same, I uploaded my image and now on "view my profile" it has this http://gyazo.com/4786fe1308fbb173ae700967f7fb76f4 http://en.gravatar.com/neb200

It takes up to 48 hours I heard to change. It took me 2 hours for mine to change when I changed my email.

This is strange, It takes me like 2-3 mins.. Try putting a new email on lockergnome and sign up for a new gravatar.

i don't know how anyone else changes there image but me I use a new one to replace the old one ..

you have to actually go to your gravitar account log in and switch to the new picture as default, just up loading the new picture wont work, even if its your first picture you must set it as default gravitar is more of a verification system it wont do nothing until its verified not openly through email but direct action ..
