What ratings would TechTV bring in?

Like, how many people would watch TechTV. I can go on a website and find out that a certain show on GSN gets 800,000 viewers. So how many people would watch TechTV shows on average?

Look at the ratings for Twit.tv & Revision3. There on the internet & have been for years & are doing fine.

My question is what about G4.TV they dropped DirecTV a few years back & there still on the air. How are they making money to stay on the air with only Dish & Comcast carrying them & Kevin Pereira not on the network anymore?

Well, I do know that Time Warner Cable still carries G4 and possibly other lesser-known cable/satellite companies.

TechTV would probably still be on the air if it wasn't bought out by G4. G4 went to total crap when they switched focus from Tech and Video Games to more "adult" oriented shows and and general syndicated crap.

G4... Shiiiit, I don't remember the last time I watched something on G4. I know it was Cheaters! I remember the good ol' days with Attack of the Show and X-Play was on and that was a probably the only gaming shows on in 2003. I think all the cable companies offer G4, I know Time Warner and Cablevision in NYC offer them with their basic packages.

all i know is i miss TechTV, mainly "The Screen Savers" with Patrick Norton and Leo Laporte. Revision 3 is just not the same even though they have some good material.

As for ratings, it could not have been to good or they would still be around. They did have a niche audience. During the later days of TechTV they tried to widen the audence to quickly and it turned to crap, shortly after G4 took over full control and got rid of anything that was not gaming related.
