Apple Newton serial or usb cable anyone?

This is a bit of a long shot but does anyone know where I can get a serial cable for an apple newton 2100, and perhaps a spare battery bay so I can use normal AA batteries? I got one for a very good price on eBay a while ago and I actually use it to take notes at seminars all the time.

You might want to try asking on the NewtonTalk mailing list. It’s the largest, most active Newton community still in existence. There are regular requests for spare parts and components on the list, and the community can be very generous and helpful.

If you don’t have any luck, let me know and I’ll see what I can dig up for you.
