Can this be done in Vanilla Forum?

I wonder if there is a simple machine template for Vanilla Forum? I had Simple Machine Forum on my site, but I took it down due to spamming. Then I tried php bb, but I couldn't figure out to get the category to work, so I took it down, as well. By the way I haven't installed vanilla forum yet but thinking about it. I just discovered a site that compares forum sites smf has have safety issues.

0	bbPress is a good Forum platform. But can only be used if you have the WordPress software on your website. Install WordPress, then search for "bbpress" in the plugins section. answered Sep 06 '12 at 17:47 Cameron 1.8k●104●128●136
