I purchased a Mac Pro some time ago (Early 2008, dual-quad-core model), for video editing at an Apple Store. It's still running pretty good (occasionally it freezes if there's too many apps open), with the included 2 GB of RAM, but I can't help but consider upgrading its RAM. Should I? If I do, do I need to buy Apple-branded RAM, or can I purchase it cheaper from another manufacturer?
