According to Kotaku, NBC Universal, the owners of G4, are reporting to turn the television station version of GQ, ditching the nerd focus in favor of something more "modern male". If you remember the earlier days of G4, it was previously known more of TechTV. I believe people here know about the station. If not, you can read more about the station at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TechTV and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/G4_(TV_Channel) What do you think about the situation G4 is facing? Do you think TechTV can be revived from the station? (reports from some gaming news sources and Chris's Twitter account shows that there is a petition to bring back the station to its formal glory http://www.change.org/petitions/nbcuniversal-bring-back-techtv-from-the-ashes-of-g4tv)/. |

I really would love for Tech TV to be back. It looked like a great show, there is no tv shows for technology really. |

G4 has pretty much lost most of it's "nerd focus" years ago. All they really have left is X-Play and Attack of the Show and even those aren't as good as they used to be. I hope that TechTV can be brought back, especially since it should've remained its own channel in the first place considering how "well" G4 went. |

Tech TV is pretty much back on the internet because of networks such as revision 3 and Twit |

I haven't watched G4 since 2004. It's changed a hell of a lot since then. I mean TechTV could come back, but it's a niche market. G4 just fucked up when they got more of a "rerun of old shows" network like TVLand. |
