Hey guys! So, here's the problem. My friend invited me to a stupid group and I was getting spammed by notification by the group. I was added WITHOUT my approval by the way! So I finally said I had enough of this and just left the group. Then Notifications from the group came in. I thought it was a bug so I thought I'd wait it out. Then after a day or two..I started getting really pissed and googled the problem. There has been a number of people who has experienced the same thing, but all without a solution. I have made several bug reports but nothing yet. So I'm here trying to find a way to fix it. Anyone got any idea? PS. My name is surprisingly still in the group even after I left. |

Facebook made some changes the other day and as always they were messed up by default :) what you need to do is rejoin the group and leave again the problem will be solved , for any who had set there email notice to off who are suddenly again receiving mail you have to go in and turn the mail setting on and then back off the mail will once again stop.. even though it shows you have left the group AP or game after the work they did there programing some where has you set back in the group only the facts are hidden SO likeI said rejoin and then leave and all will be good with the world .. no doubt there will be many issues with Facebook for a while they are working on building search programming and web search portal for Facebook that as I under stand it will work much like google and bing.. they are also talking and working on A smart phone and OS web browser cloud based music service and facebook.com email , Let me know when it all sounds familiar :) VERY familiar. Even if they are trying to expand further, there's no reason to ignore the thing that got them where they are today. Either way, I've been trying to re-add myself but no luck so far. I can't get people to invite me to the group either. I know this way works I had to do it with a few of them, this group is no doubt getting many requests for the same reason .. I was added back for some odd reasons and I left. Now, problem solved! |
